Why can't I change my text notification tone on my Galaxy Centura?

Do matter what ringtone I choose it always defaults back to "Charming Bell". This applies only to the text. I can change my phone ringtone.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you trying to pick a custom tone? If so, is that tone saved only on the microSD card or is it on Internal Storage? Make sure it's on Internal Storage, in the Notifications directory.
