    try to keep it short. I bought a phone.. Checked the imei that is clean. It's at&t then ordered my micro sims from straight talk. Then had my number switched to new sims. It works for 24 hours then doesn't. It says system is blocked. Straight talk says there is a block from at&t. Can the phone have a clean imei and still be blocked from the carrier? I just want and need it to work. I have a son with autism and can not have a phone that doesn't work .

    The phone may have been recently reported to AT&T by the former owner.

    I see. Perhaps there are other types of block....an unpaid bill, say. Ask AT&T for an explanation.

    Hello Jennifer, welcome to the forums! I assume that you bought a second hand phone, right? Can you get in touch with the former owner? This could be my first step to understand what's going on. If not, I agree with Belodion, get in touch with your carrier and see if they can fix your problem.
