cant get the time and date to change on front screen even though have reset on settings screen

Looked for troubleshooting and it says turn automatic off but I dont have anything that says automatic

Not sure what you looked at in troubleshooting, but it may be talking about having your time automatically sync to the network. What device are you having problems with? Is the screen you're talking about the home screen or the lock screen?

Sometimes if the clock/date is off, the best thing is to change the clock to the wrong time, and then turn on the option to have it sync to the network. As soon as the phone detects the network, it'll update the clock/date to the right time.
