Question Want the time, but not the date on lockscreen, can this be done?

on my lock screen, I want the time but I don't want the date. is there any way?
I've searched a lot and all the solutions provide the setting that removes both time and date!

I have it set to show the time in large numbers with the date below in a much smaller and fainter font. Does this not suffice?

Android isn't that big on lock screen customisation and only introduced a few limited options in Android 14 and yours isn't one of them.

There are a few options to change the clock style and colour but the date remains and if you're running 14 you already know that

Each to their own but personally I couldn't care less about the lock screen as I never look at it. It's only there as a security measure for me - as is it should be for EVERYONE - so when I wake the screen it's fingerprint and straight in (iPhone perhaps?)

My Samsung S20FE is on Android 13 and for that I tap on

Settings -> Lock Screen -> Lock Screen display

then tap on the time display and a number of alternative time displays pops up to choose from.
