Car charger fried my S4, can I repair it?

AC Question

In an unfortunate turn of events I ended up putting the wrong fuse into an old USB car charger port and frying my 4 month old Galaxy S4.
The replacement fuse was 15 Amps - I genuinely have no clue what amperage rating they're meant to be (yes, I am to blame).
The phone became totally unresponsive. The battery is fine. I took a look at the motherboard and couldn't see anything noticeably wrong with it. Only there was a definite smell of burnt electronics.
Before I go crazy on eBay can someone tell me if the motherboard or daughterboard is likely broken. Would a new respective board save my phone?
