the power button on my galaxy s4 is broken - mostly unresponsive, but sometimes when i bump it lightly it will open the power menu (like when you press and hold the power button normally). I cant get it to turn on or off by holding the button, or lock the screen.
Usually when it shuts off I can get it back on by repeatedly trying to boot it in recovery mode or the custom os thing by taking out the battery, unplugging the charger (connected to my pc), plugging in the charger, holding the volume down and home buttons, and putting the battery back in, or any random combination of these steps. but this takes me about 20 minutes usually because once i get it to begin to download the custom os or boot in recovery mode it will just shut off after a second. its excruciating. Today it shut off and i havent been able to get it past this point
is there any easier way to turn my phone on? or should i try to fix the physical issue with the power button?
