why is my finger print such a nusinance

I am older and my finger sometimes gets a wrinkle that was not there when I installed the security fingerprint. Now I go thru all the tries to access my phone just to be locked out. Then I go thru the process again. annoying1

When I set up the fingerprint recognition on my iPhone 5s, I had a cut on my thumb. Nevertheless the scanner ignored that when mapping the print. It could simply be that your device has an unreliable fingerprint scanner.
