Note 5, upgraded to Marshmallow 6.0.1 no longer getting email

[AC Question]

I have a Note 5 (Verizon) and recently upgraded to Marshmallow 6.0.1. We use Mobileiron and the standard Samsung email app to get our work emails. The emails stopped coming through when I upgraded from Lollipop to Marshmallow.

I have tried the following:

Removed and entered a new account
Uninstalled and reinstalled mobile iron.
Turned off the email Doze feature.
Cleared the Cache.
Forced the Sync.

Sort of at a loss of what to try next.

I'd recommend Reset the phone completely.
Back up your data completely before doing this process.

I had a similar problem - Mobiliron/touchdown worked, but not over wifi. The company support said that Mobiliron doesn't support Android Marshmallow. Can't find that documented anywhere, but I have seen some twitter messages from others reporting similar problems.

Anyone have Android 6.0 working with Mobiliron?
