    I used to be able to hit # symbol on the keyboard while composing a txt in my messanger app (not the facebook messanger) and all the gifs would pop up and be searchable by #. Some reason this stopped 1/2 way through the day. I didn't manually update anything. Any thoughts?

    I have finally figured this problem out, if you haven't already done so !!!
    So you need to go into setting then accessibility and simply scroll to the bottom and where it says gif keyboard just turn that on. It will all be back to normal !!!

    Thank you both for bring this up and answering, you saved me lol I was literally opening the app and then sending from there for each conversation, after two days I was going nuts! hahah

    I have finally figured this problem out, if you haven't already done so !!!
    So you need to go into setting then accessibility and simply scroll to the bottom and where it says gif keyboard just turn that on. It will all be back to normal !!!

    This worked for me: Make sure system language is turned on in your default keyboard and not just the languages you need. I did that and now it works fine.

    Could you explain what you mean about system languages? I have downloaded a personalized keyboard. Will that make a difference?

    I want to say that it might not work the same for some service cell phone network providers.

    Example of why I believe this:

    My fiancé got the S8+ right when it came out (5 months ago) and I bought mine recently (1 month ago). Her service is through Verizon and mine is through T-mobile. She had the easy-to-use/Verizon-owned 'Messeger+' , whereas I did not get this app. It is downloadable of course, but it also comes with different settings, configurations, and options.
