AC Question

The uninstall button is missing for all my installed apps. I'm not talking about the OS apps or the pre-installed ones, but all the apps I installed afterwards and I'm usually able to uninstall at will. I don't know when that happened as I have not needed to uninstall any app for weeks.

This looks like malware, what are my options?

Thanks

Ive been hving the same problem lately with my samsung tab 4 (rooted) and the only app that has changed on my tablet in the last month or so has been my freedom app and i trust where i downloaded it from. Saddly i dont have a fix for making the button come back but the only workaround ive found is to go into your settings app>storage>apps>uninstall.
Ill try clearing cache then seeing if the button comes back then ill try clearing data and cache and ill report back with my findings

Nope still gone for all my apps 😕 its not that horrible but i dont like change lol
Edit: not sure how this comment showed up before my first reply

This is happening recently on my Mad Catz MOJO as well. If it's an official Play Store change, it seems like an odd move to make it harder for users to uninstall apps.

Good evening and thank you for visiting Android Central forums!

If it were me, I would do a full factory reset. Be sure to back up all of your data before you do that!
