Every time i try to change my wallpaper, most of my home screen is black. Any suggestions?

The screen is all black except for the small bar where my back, window, and home buttons are. I have a Motorola E 2nd generation.

A long shot....but if you're using a customized wall paper, to which has black in picture, its "possible" that you image is not fitting to the size of your screen. Try changing wall paper to a stock wall paper (if you haven't) to see if that might be what's happening.
