After upgrading to 6.0 my s6 this morning...no text messing app will load or run at all?

6.0 upgrade works fine except that it killed my messaging app. G6 phone. Verizon carrier. The Verizon Messages+, won't open. The built in Samsung Messages, won't open. Hangouts, won't open. Even tried several other Messaging apps from the Play store and none will open. Tried changing everything in settings and app settings. Disabled, Enabled, Cleared Cache, Forces Stop. NADA. Any help would be most appreciated.

Hello, thanks for stopping by!

We've had this quite a lot since the update. Here's the two things that work the most.

1. Enter Recovery > Wipe Cache Partition
2. Full Factory Reset. Yes, I know its terrible, but if the wipe of the cache doesn't work, then this will.

BE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR PERSONAL DATA, AS THE FFR WILL DELETE EVERYTHING, PHONE AS NEW.
