The volume on my newly purchased Galaxy 5 is very low. How do I raise the volume?

This would be a relative term as very low for you might be too loud for someone else. The only way to raise the volume is to turn up the volume control. If you think something is wrong with the phone and the volume is too low, visit a store where you can compare your phone with another S5 to see if the volume is the same or different.
