Invalid SIM card on Sprint - Samsung S5

A

AC Question

A couple of months ago, I had to turn in my original SAMSUNG S5 service provided by Sprint because the phone Android operating system froze up. I received a replacement same model of phone, however I always get the "Invalid SIM card" error, even though the phone operates sends and receives ok. I took it to a local Sprint store, they told me to ignore the error, but it really is bothersome annoying to constantly see this error. Is there some steps I can performed to clear this error?

Hi there!

If it were me, I would not settle with, their request for me to ignore it. Its a malfunction and should be covered, no different that the first problem being covered. However, you can TRY entering recovery mode and wiping the cache partition. Also, I would remove and reseat the sim.\

Hope this helps!
