Nexus 7 2013 not connecting properly with windows 10

it does connect i can open nexus folder but can't see files in them ex: my music files i cant see what is there. tried different cables , search on the net , nothing found of what to do . i am going to file transfer mtp on nexus. this use to work before new updates from windows or Nexus i am not sure, tried on other computers same problem, If anyone has a solution it would be appreciated to know how to fix this, thanks
