Some music from library not playing.

[AC Question]

after transferring music from iTunes to my new Samsung S7, I tested the transferred music. I noticed some songs did not play. I than checked the details of the file and noticed that the files that did not play were all over the 10megs in size. is that normal or is there a problem with the Google Music Player app? any suggestions or possible solutions?

Were any of these songs DRM protected? If so, please see this link from Apple about how to get a DRM-free version.

the music files that are not playing were copied from cd's. they were not purchased on iTunes. :-

What file format are they?

Have you tried adding those songs to your Google Play Music library using Music Manager or Google Play Music for Chrome? https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/1100462?hl=en
