Personalized Text Notifications not working

[AC Question]

I bought the g5 last week. I have certain contacts who I have set up with a personalized mp3 tone so if my brother texts me I know it's him. call personalized are working but the text always defaults to the default. LG customer service has been awful on this issue. Has anyone ran into this? I'm thinking a factory reset but hate to do that. any help would be appreciated.
