AC Question

Can your phone actually forget your pattern passcode? I have been using my pattern for more than a year and it's muscle memory at this point -- I don't think about it. My phone decided that it would just stop responding to my pattern, so naturally, after trying a million times, I got locked out!

I used Google ADM to unlock the phone (I wrote a WHOLE post about this experience as well), but afterwards, when the SAME pattern was entered, I was able to open the phone!

Quite literally, my phone forgot its own passcode for about an hour and then just out of the blue, it started responding to the same passcode, acting like nothing happened. I didn't reset anything! It just decided that the passcode I never changed was now correct. Is this a thing? Can your phone forget your passcode??

Thanks.

I don't think the phone can "forget" something that is coded in its memory.

The only thing that I can think of is the touch being out of sync...which can happen, if the touch is not precise it will not register the correct pattern.

The touch issue is usually caused by General lag... And is temporary.
