I have to update an app on my phone, Samsung Galaxy s9+, model SM-G965U, to continue to communicate with my employer. My OS is currently Android 10, and to use the updated app, I have to upgrade to Android 11. When I try to update from Android 10, tho, I am told I have the latest version, so I am thinking my model of phone (8 yrs old now) is unable to accommodate any OS later than Android 10. So, please feel free to confirm or correct my understanding here. I'd hate to have to buy a new phone just so I can update an app, but maybe that has to happen.
