AC Question

I recently attempted to add some music onto my phone's 32 gb (i think) SD card. These music files are wma files and when I started playing it, 40 seconds in the music would skip and i'd hear a different part of the song. This happened without any input on my part and I was confused at first because I thought I had done something. I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4

Ok so I had to create an account to reply, so I am the original poster btw. I know the files aren't corrupted because i can play them fine from my laptop without any skipping. I'm thinking there might be something wrong when I transfer the file or there's something wrong with my SD card, however, the latter is less likely because I already have plenty of songs on my SD card and they play just fine.

Unfortunately, I have the same problem on my Galaxy s5. It was fine BEFORE the OS update. I tried PlayerPro with its buffer control. That greater reduced the problem, but it still continues. It must be a problem with the way Android handles file buffers. I've tried deactivating a number of apps or closing all apps, but there are still hidden processes I have no control over that are probably interrupting the data flow. Solution: a different device... iPhone.
