    I have a Samsung Galaxy Tablet S2. I performed a factory rest so to remove all data; however, in trying to set the tablet back up, my tablet wants me to use the original account that was first synced with it. When I tried putting in the original user account and account password, the tablet does not recognize it. I am at an impass. My tablet has been factory reset, but will not recognize the original Google account it had been initially set up with, and will not allow me to continue. At this point, I have a $500 paper weight. Is there anything I can do to manually delete the user account tied to the tablet after a factory reset?

    There is no way to bypass this. You can look into google account recovery, see link below.

    Unless and until those details are entered, the device will remain unusable. It ought not to have been sold like that.
