I am thinking of upgrading from S3.

I wanted to go with the S5, but my provider does not currently have it in stock.

    They do have an J3 , J7, and S7.

I see that there is quite a price disparity between the J series and the S series.

Does this mean that the J series is of low quality.

My main concern is the battery life and that I am able to communicate effectively without dropped calls or very slow internet/GPS service.

    Thank you.

The J7 has a smaller internal storage, less RAM, same size battery, but bigger screen (may affect battery life), running 5.1 vs. 6.0, and an older CPU.

The J7 is cheaper, hence it has less software features, as well as it's hardware is of lower standards. I wouldn't say quality. They're as durable as what Samsung factory standards comply to.

Thanks..perhaps it's best to wait and see if a new battery for S3 will allow me more time with that phone. Then I can possibly upgrade to the S7 once there is a discount or dip in the price.
