Samson S6 Android 6.0.1 how do I save a contact from phone

Since the marshmallow update, android 6.0.1, I can not figure out how to save a new contact from a phone call. Previously there was a + to add contacts, now there is only a delete option. Was the ability to create contacts from phone calls removed?

Get into your call logs. Click on the contact and you should get an option to save to contacts..

If the contact is in Contacts, and it's listed as a Google contact, it's saved. If it's listed as something else, ex[port it, import it as a Google contact, then go to Google Contacts/ and edit the contact if needed. Then sync the phone back. (ALL your contacts should be Google contacts. SIM cards were used back when they were the only storage place on a phone. Phone.Device is a terrible place - if you lose the phone (or it gets damaged), you lose all your contacts.
