Why wifi direct cant be connected with samsung

I just bought lgv10 . I'm having a problem with Wi-Fi direct app previous I was using note 3
The problem started when I wanted to share some files using wifi direct Unfortunately it's can't detect or send
So I did survey in Google n you tube
Inform that it can't due the platform are different
So I'm here inquiry is that true..!!!!
So how am I going to send all this -any recommended applications
And only samsung or other brand that can't use Wifi direct for lg.
Only lg to lg can use wifi direct

Yup. That's how it is. Wifi direct only works for same branded devices. A Samsung can only do another Samsung, and Sony to Sony and LG to LG. You could try sending via NFC, or download SuperBeam from Play Store.
