Google Play Music giving error message "couldn't play the track you requested"

AC Question

I have been using Google Play Music (All Access) and have downloaded a lot of songs for offline play onto my SD card. Yesterday I moved all my 'offline' songs to my phone's internal storage and was able to play songs after that. Today I get the error message "music playback error couldn't play the track you requested".

I have tried all the suggestions (i.e reboot phone, clear cache, etc) but it still won't play any of my music.

Please could someone help me with this as I'm paying for a service which doesn't work.

Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! What happens if you clear your Google Play Music cache/data (in Settings>Apps), then download those songs again--but this time directly to internal storage?
