    I have been having issues with my note 4(SM-N910W8) where the other party will say my voice is low sounding. They say it sounds like i'm 10 feet away from my phone.
    I've tried changing to my headset as well and the issue still persists there. I also turned off noise reduction which didn't make a difference.
    Any ideas what might be the issue?
    I'm on 5.0.1 and the baseband is N910W8VLU1BOE2. The average signal is -90 - -100 dbm.

    Welcome to Android Central! What network are you on? Does it have VoLTE/HD Voice/Advanced Calling (which are all the same thing)? Do you have it turned on?

    I'm on the Rogers network. I know it has lte for data which is the default setting. Not sure how I check for the other 2 you mentioned.

    Try going to Settings>More Networks>Mobile Networks. Is there an option for VoLTE there?

    GSM/HSPA/Lte. Rogers is a Canadian network btw

    It's difficult to find on the web if VoLTE is activated in the Note 4 on Rogers. The best I could find was this thread: voLTE on n910u Rogers | Samsung Galaxy Note 4. But that's not entirely conclusive either. The reason I'm focusing on this is that in the US, if you turn off VoLTE (e.g., Advanced Calling on Verizon), voice quality can be significantly worse, depending on the local network.

    Rogers doesn't support volte for the note 4 based off the phone call I had with them

    Ok, that's good to know. But that also eliminates that as a possible cause.

    What if you make a call using Hangouts Dialer? Is your voice still low volume?
