Removing a forgotten password

[AC Question]

So I put a password on my phone and then it wouldn't recognise it, I managed to get into my phone using samsungs find my phone thing but now I can't remove the password on my settings page because I don't know it , is there anyway of removing the password when I can't get it to recognise what I entered ?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that when you go to the settings menu to change the lockscreen method, it requires you to enter that password that you've forgotten?

Bring the phone to the carrier, with identification proving that you're the person who owns the account it's on. (For obvious reasons, we don't give out information like this.)

When you say the phone doesn't recognize the password, are you saying you forgot your password, or that you're definitely entering the correct password, but it's not working?

Rukbat's suggestion is probably your best bet.
