I have a zte Android phone. My built in music players have a habit of completely forgetting my music. I mean every track, poof! Gone from within the app. I have 600 songs saved to my SD card and my app doesn't recognize a single one.
This happened with google play music shortly after I got this phone, but I simply switched to the other built in music app, which is only called music in the system, and hadn't had a problem. I even used the player last night just fine. But now I wake up and everything is gone from the app. But this app doesn't let me add music to it directly. I can't select a folder to play from.
And before someone says it, I can't just download another music app. This phone came pre-loaded with so many junk apps that I can't download anything else. And i like the music player I was using.
So any ideas what to do about this?
Note: I don't have a working laptop right now so connecting to one is a no-no for solutions.
