home wifi will not connect

[AC Question]

my S6 will not connect to my home wifi, it has no problem connecting to public wifi like my gyms or starbucks etc. i do not believe it is my router i just updated the firmware and all my other devices have no problem connecting to the home wifi, but here is the odd part is when i restart my router (unplug and plug back in) it will connect fine but as soon as i leave its range when i go somewhere and comeback it refuses to connect. when i try to connect my phone says connecting for about 5 seconds and then it stops trying to connect like nothing happend

I used to have this problem. What I did was unplug the router for 30 seconds and plug it back in and wait another 30 seconds. Then I would restart my phone.

i tried that i connected just fine but same issue i couldnt connect when i got home today, without restarting my router
