Phone not lighting up or unlocking when call comes

[AC Question]

When a call comes to my phone (Moto E2), the phone rings (or vibrates depending on mode) but the screen does not light up. When I use the screen unlock button on the side, it asks for the lock pattern. After unlocking the pattern, only then the call is visible. What to do?

Hi, are you using a 3rd party screen lock or the one that came with the phone?
