My samsung keyboard no longer deletes incorrect words with one click. How do I turn it back on.

I updated my phone to the latest operating system. When using the samsung keyboard, I can no longer delete incorrect swyped or autocorrected words with one delete click. How do I turn it back on?

Hi, I believe this function is still available - when the word is incorrect, can you not just press the backspace button?
