A bunch of people at work play Pokemon Go, and I've got a 3D printer, so I designed a quick Aimer tool for them. I'm working on some revisions and a complaint I've gotten is having to holder the aimer with one hand and throw the pokeball with the other. The "easy" solution is design a model for each specific phone and case combo, but that's not remotely easy in the real world.
Instead, I think I want to design a little indent into parts of the model and stick something like BluTack in there to hold the aimer to the screen when in use, but be easily removed when not.
The problem is I don't trust BluTack on phone screens. Is it safe, or is there an alternative? The initial thought for BluTack is that it's a putty so I could stick a glob in the indent, but I can design around alternatives easily. The other thought I had was a double sided tape that's really strong on one side but really weak on the other (weak to phone, strong to aimer)...
