AC Question

I am 99% positive that my modem has somehow been infected by a redirect virus. When i entered the ipv6 address read from my phone into the browser, this is what i read "google redirect". This address has been confirmed as such by my mobile provider. The other very odd symptom is that when i hook to my personal modem through wifi, my sim card status found in settings "about phone" reads disconnected. The very second i kill the wifi connection, my mobile network state says connected. Over and over. Not coincidence. The truly odd thing though is that i can still make and receive calls and texts, mobile network connected or disconnected. This is also independent of my mobile data turned on or off. Any clues into this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you checked for any firmware updates to the router? Have you already tried doing a factory reset of the router, then setting it back up again?
