Problem downloading mms messages

I cannot download the mms messages. Can somebody hel' me out. Appreciate it yaw. BTW I'm using the expensive S7 EDGE

Hi and welcome to AC have you spoken to your carrier? they might have disabled this feature.

Welcome to Android Central! Is your mobile data turned on? MMS requires mobile data to be on -- it doesn't use voice signal or wi-fi.

If you didn't get the phone directly from your carrier, you might have to check the APN settings to make sure they're configured correctly.
