My lg g4 won't load my extended battery, saying it is invalid. Is there any way to get around that?

AC Question

I ordered a Deep Stretch extended battery for my lg g4 and after aquiring the battery and equipping it the phone says the battery is invalid and shuts off. Is there any way to negate this? And if so how?
