messages doubling up with +44 code and unknown sender

[AC Question]

Recently got a lenovo smart phone. I can send a text message and it saves it in my inbox under my contact details. When i recieve a message it comes up without the contact details just with the phone number and the +44 code on the start

any ideas

No idea, but +44 is the UK if that helps.
