how to disable Proximity Sensor

I've sony z2 , it has android 6 . My problem is this , the Proximity Sensor is not working since I bought the phone, in phone calls the screen goes off and I can't turn screen on at all and it's really bothering my .

I'm looking for a way to keep screen on during phone calls.

How can I do so ?
