Saved Files. Saved as HTML how do I get it to open differently

I saved my text message thread as a file. I opened it and click "HTML" format instead of Google. Now, when I open it, it is in HTML format and the thread is unreadable.

Hi, you'll be able to clear the defaults for it in settings > apps
