unable to add outlook mail after changing password

[AC Question]

please help my phone will not let me update my email account after I changed the password, it is a outlook account. I have tried to delete and reinstall the account on my phone with no luck. I have checked the account by signing in on comp the password is right etc and I am NOT using 2 step verification, phone just tells me "unable to set up account Authentication failed" I also have another account that keeps failing to connect to sever that is fine for and few hours again then back to failing to connect. This all started when I updated phone at the weekend. its a galaxy s5.
