Why is there no call waiting notification?

[AC Question]

Unlike the previous versions, I can't seem to identify why i don't get any notification for a call waiting, when I'm on another call. It's only after a couple of minutes when I look at my phone screen, I notice there is/are call(s) that I have missed. This is really testing my patience, and of course of the folks who call me, and I miss their calls, as I don't get to know of them.
Answer to this one will give me a little peace in my head. Thanks!

What phone do you have, and what version of Android is it running?

What mobile provider do you have? Are you using a device branded to your mobile provider or one that is unlocked? Have you contacted your provider and asked them for assistance?

You can turn that function on in your device. Usually go to phone.... Settings.... More settings and then you should see the options available
