how do I clear an error message on phone.....

HELP! I can't get an error message to clear after I push OK. it keeps reappearing non-stop. the message reads, "unfortunately the .com.process.gapp has stopped working", then gives me the option to press OK. that DOES NOT CLEAR IT!

Every answer to my question allows for the option to go to SETTINGS! I CAN'T! can't go ANYWHERE! the message keeps popping up!

PLEASE ASAP HELP! It's my dad's phone!

It's clearing it, but gapps still isn't running (and the phone depends on it running), so the notification reappears faster than you can see it go away. ("Gapps" is Google Apps, and that's most of the firmware in the phone.) You may have to bring the phone in for repair.
