Smashed Samsung A3 2016 Screen, how can I get my files?

hi, so today I smashed my Samsung A3 2016 screen and the bottom half of the screen isn't working, so I can't put my passcode in to unlock it but i want to transfer my files over to my computer but I need to be able to unlock it to do this. Is there any way?

Try repair shops in your area. See if anyone has a screen they can plug in for a short time so that you can get the files off. (Most won't, but if you find one, you'll have to pay something for them to do it - but not as much as a new screen.)

Or you can try to follow A quick guide to accessing a locked phone with a cracked screen. (you'll need a second A3 just to see where things are).
