Whatsapp with android auto no reply

hallo i have a galaxy s4 vers 5.0.1 is unable to reply to messages.
the android voice say: app not installed or not updated

I don't think WA works very well on the S4. Have you tried updating the app? If you can't it may no longer be compatible with the device

I'm having the same exact issue using Whatsapp with my Pixel on Android Auto.
