How do I switch the Droid Maxx 2 from Verizon to T-Mobile

I'm trying to make it a T-Mobile network phone... I put T-Mobile SIM card in and change the settings but it still is not working

I think your biggest "issue" is that the Droid Maxx 2 does not have band 12, which is one of the more important ones to have in more recent months. The phone also has band 4, which COULD work to get you T-Mobile service, but that depends on your area.

The phone was designed specifically to work on Verizon, and on partner networks globally. It was not designed for use on other US carriers, if it does work it's just a bonus. Yes, Verizon is required to sell devices as unlocked, but that does not mean a carrier-exclusive device will have the radios to work on other carriers.
