Photos files not found

[AC Question]

Although I van view image files in Gallery and Photos, I cannot find the actual files through the File Explorer. Nothing in DCIM folders in Tablet or SD card. I have hundreds of photos and they must be stored somewhere. I have a Samsung Studio Tab 4

From inside of the gallery app, is there not an option to see the properties of the image which should include the folder's name?
