I'm having the same problem. In doing some testing of outgoing calls sometimes when clicking a number in my Contacts I can see it's adding an extra 1 to the number (as in 1 1 xxx xxxx) and of course then the call won't go through.
I tested with my Granddaughter. If she uses her Contacts to call me (as in click a contact) her calls go to my voicemail. If she dials me manually without any 1 in the number (we're in the same area code) the calls come through. The numbers I have in my contacts do not have 1's in them, just area code and number. When testing with hubby's phone if I go into the Phone Call Log and click his entry to call him the call won't go through. If I dial him manually it goes through.
Testing with phone in our house it's the same thing as testing with my Granddaughter.
This is very annoying, anyone have a fix or do I need to contact the carrier?
Edited to add: I just tried using the call log again to make some calls between phones in our house including mine both incoming and outgoing. This additional 1 that's being added is not consistent, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.
