How to clear storage downloads

How do I clear the downloads in storage on my Droid Ultra Android 4.4.4 ?

I'm not quite sure what you mean as clearing the downloads. Are you wanting to delete them or have the files not show up in the download folder anymore?

Welcome to Android Central! Open your Downloads app, tap Menu, and see if there's a Delete All option. If not, then long-press one of the files, which should start the multi-select feature. Now select all of the files you want to delete, and then select the delete option.
