    Hi All
    I have an odd problem.
I bought what I am told is a brand new LG G4 from an large ebay seller as my cousin had the same model and raved about it.

His was an international version and mine is as well.
It was from a seller in Hong Kong.

When I received it I noticed it had Android 5.1 on it and there was no option in the menus for "Check Now For Update"
My cousin could find that option easily on his but no luck for me, I have followed guides and looked through the menu a million times but I only have the option to update the apps not the Android version.

Has anyone encountered this and know how to fix it?
I checked with LG who confirmed my phone is genuine based off IMEI and I dont believe it is a refurbed model although this is hard to confirm 100%
It also appears not to have been rooted.

    Here are phone details:
    Android version is 5.1
    Kernel is 3.10.49
    Build Number is LMY47D
    Software Version is H81510b
Production date is 1st July 2015
It says provider is: SFR which I believe is a Frence Telco

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, I only ever saw this on my LG G2 a while back, the reason, it was rooted. I would contact the seller and request either your money back or a replacement.
