When I connect a PS4 controller via bluetooth, it works well fory a VERY short amount of time. After this, the lag begins and it quickly becomes unplayable.

If that doesn't work, its probably fried.
Lag could also be caused by the game itself, internet connection, or display lag.
Is this on an Android phone? Have you tried using another controller to see if there's a problem with your current one? In most cases if it's a new controller then there may be a problem with the Bluetooth connection.
Welcome to the forums. What android device do you have? Does the connection seem to end in about 30 minutes?
OK. I was thinking Doze may have been behind the connection, but that is far too short. I'm wondering if the device signature needs to be changed. I remember needing to do that when I connected to my S3. I will try to remember where I found that program.I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. And I've never been able to play for more than a couple minutes. The connection seems to go to garbage in seconds. Always in under a minute.
That'd be greatly appreciated, thanks!
I used Sixaxis app. You can check it out here: https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...os.sixaxiscompatibilitychecker&token=1WJ3wtHW
The configuring tool is here: SixaxisPairTool – Dancing Pixel Studios
I was having this same issue today. But i was using my older controller that i got with my launch console. This one has some slight analog calibration issues and likes to randomly pull to the side. After trying everything i could think of, i instead paired up my new controller i bought in jan/18 and it works perfectly. Either the calibration issue caused it, or the newer controllers have better bluetooth hardware. Im thinking more likely the second option, but I can't say for sure. Just hoping this helps someoneWhen I connect a PS4 controller via bluetooth, it works well fory a VERY short amount of time. After this, the lag begins and it quickly becomes unplayable.
