Phone is BLU VIVO XL original OS less than week old. According to data usage all data was thru the OS. Noticed during same period home wifi was being slowed down to a crawl with this phone connected to network. Turned off phone's wifi and network was fine. If phone was on wifi how did it consume 90gb of data on at&t network? Any help would be appreciated trying to save myself a $1k phone bill. Phone has downloaded marshmallow update but will not install it. thanks

Welcome to Android Central! 90 gigabytes, not megabytes? That seems like a serious glitch. Are you saying that a system update downloaded over the air won't install due to an error? Where did you get this phone? Was it brand new or used?

have had 2 of these with no issues. Nothing was streaming and was during the night. Phone is brand new. I'm saying the update had downloaded, but when you click install update it does nothing. And ATT says since its not one of our phones we cant look at it??? I guess they are saying they have some spyware in them that mine doesn't to deduce what happened. Since they say they can't find out what happened to it I'm responsible for the $1K in data overages.

Yes giga, Bought from Amazon from BLU like always. I'm saying the update had downloaded, but when you click install update it does nothing. There is no additional data on my phone storage is still as it has been. I don't even have but 2 gigs of stuff on the phone.

Try talking to Blu customer service: Contact Service

I almost wonder if that phone came with some kind of malware installed.
